I consider flash memory pretty generic. So I bought the best priced chip and it works fine. Not to mention I use it in a car stereo flash drive in a Jeep with no top. So it takes a little more abuse than standard and holds up.

Six months in, and so far this card has worked great (which I guess for such a basic function, shouldn't be too much to ask.) The price is pretty hard to beat. As long as you don't keep your photos stored solely on your memory card, I personally think that going with the more inexpensive cards is the best route to take.

I ordered the Fujifilm memory card, and what I received was a Canon one. All I needed was an inexpensive card so the substitution was OK, I was just surprised that the item I received was a different brand, and that I hadn't been notified of the change.

The SD card works great in my camera and is very fast. The shipping was super fast also. Can't wait to use this card in my camera when I go on a trip this weekend.

I purchased three of these 2 GB SD cards for an upcoming trip out of town, in anticipation of taking a lot of high resolution digital pictures. The price was right and Fujifilm products have been good to me in the past.
My short time observations:
* The cards came blister packed.
* Lifetime warranty.
* There is no separate plastic storage/protection case, like higher end cards.
* Upon inspection -- the cards were made in Korea, but packaged in China.
* The cards are formated FAT32, so they will work in most newer camera without any problems.
* These are not SDHC cards - a regular SD card reader will read the card.
* Putting the card to the test -- 18.7 MB/sec average transfer rate (range of 18.3 MB/sec and 18.8 MB/sec) per HDTune.
The features for the price cannot be beat.

03/22/2010 -- Update
We used a Fujifilm 2 GB card in a game camera this past winter. The camera was left in the woods in northwestern lower Michigan. For over 3 months, it sat silently in the cold and snow of the area capturing pictures. Taking the card back into the house to download the results, the card worked flawlessly. Many nights of sub-zero temperatures will bring out the worst in the card, but it performed as expected.
